Junior Sales Manager

Job Description

• Typical work activities will be diverse, but will include the following areas;
• Responsible for generating new business through phone contacts, networking and sales calls to potential contract opportunities. 
• Provide service for existing accounts
• Monitor and analyze sales
• Maintan awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor what local competitors are doing. 
• Manage a dedicated set of categories to increase sales, and ensure efficiency and profitability targets are met; 
• Development of Store and marketing offering, and product knowledge operational staff; 
•  Manage stock levels and making decisions relating to ranging/product and service offering; 
• Analyze sales figures interpreting information and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits; 
• Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues at weekly sales meeting;
• Will be expected to research and understand market trends and opportunities; create, administer and implement offers, solutions, distribution and campaigns in conjunction with the sales, logistics and marketing teams;
•  Attend trade shows and conferences.
• Report to Purchasing director.

Candidate Requirements: 

•  Bachelors Degree or any other comparable track
• Good communication and management skills
• Team player with high level of proactivity
•  Willingness to travel
• Required languages:  English (fluent)
• Desirable languages: Spanish (advanced),  Mandarin (advanced),  Korean (advanced) or Portuguese (advanced)
